hipsterPDA v2.0

August 11, 2005

Chris turned me on to [Getting Things Done (GTD)](http://www.davidco.com “David Allen’s Getting Things Done”), and in turn the [hipsterPDA](http://www.43folders.com/2005/06/the_diy_planner.html “HipsterPDA”). I laughed at the hipster the first time I saw it, but the more I tried to find a digital solution that suited me, the more I decided paper was a good idea. I built my own and tried it out for a while, but it soon became obvious that is was not going to make it. So i decided to come up with my own Mod. Behold, the [hipster2.0](http://web.omnidrive.com/APIServer/public/QXD0xoofpH710LBqw4BoJiHf/PDA_temp.pdf “My PDF Template”)…

Post-its example

It’s a [Moleskine](http://www.moleskine.com/eng/_interni/catalogo/Cat_int/catalogo_pocket.htm “The Moleskine site”) notebook with 3×5 preprinted post-it notes for the different lists, projects, notes, etc… from the [original hipsterPDA templates](http://www.43folders.com/2005/06/the_diy_planner.html “original templates from diyplanner”). I just made a template to stick the post-its to and then layed out the pages. I’ll put the full pdf up here when I’m finished tweaking it. It is sortable, changeable, and compact. It also holds up to my pocket better and can hold my pencil to keep it handy.

UPDATE: I found my PDF template and updated the link.
